Working with a view of the sea
After years of living and working in the Netherlands — from Amsterdam to Alkmaar — I decided to bring my work with me to Spain. I now live in a small coastal town in Catalonia, within walking distance of the beach. Here, I draw daily inspiration from the light, the sea, and the rhythm of outdoor life. I often start the day with an early walk or a swim in the sea.
That sense of calm and energy flows into my work — and when I’m not behind my screen, I love to draw or paint.
